6 DAYS TO REMEMBER

6 days to remember.
First time of independent travel.
100% Enjoyment.

In this year of 2015, it was a pleasure to experience independent travel for the first time. In these posts, it consists of my daily activities for the entire 6 days that I have. I’m so happy that I was able to record it every details of my trip.

DAY 1 AND 2

February 6, 2015

Okay, this day started with sunshine in the morning. Everything was taken in places. We had our nail maintenance done. We traveled 6 hours from T'boli to Davao City. However, I didn't sleep well, I don't what happened. I THINK I'M JUST SO EXCITED of what will happen tomorrow.

      ¥ 6AM
A cold breeze embraced me as I woke up. It tangled in my sleep and I think it prepares me for today's activity. I AM SO POSITIVE FOR THIS DAY. I hope everything will be productive and OKAY.

¥15 minutes advanced on arrival
It was a good timing knowing our plane, Cebu Pacific, was advanced for 15 mins. This is my first time with Cebu Pacific and I was so pleased with their service.
Two thumbs up for CEBU PACIFIC! :)
Thanks for the ride CEBU PACIFIC! :)

¥   TIME IS GOLD
Our relatives from Iloilo fetch us at Iloilo Airport. Our trip was so convenient because of our family. It was our luck and at the same time, we are so thankful for the convenience we have. The quote, 'Time is gold', was elaborated by Uncle Jose as we traveled to Tagbak terminal. It was our luck because a bus was waiting already for us in the terminal. We didn't take our lunch, instead we tried the siopao we bought. Thank you Ante Jeanet and Abegail for the company!

¥ A moment with the bus conductor
I had an argument with the bus conductor of the Ceres Lines. However, it was funny thinking that I was the one who made the mistake by not properly looking into the ticket about the fare price. (SORRY KUYA, first time ko makasakay diri).

¥ The standing tricycle driver
As I gazed into the window of the bus, I was fascinated every time I can see a standing tricycle driver. Obviously, I knew that the tricycle was full of passengers, but I can't think of the reason why are they doing it.

¥ 2 lanes drive way
From Tagbak terminal to Boracay, the drive way was only 2 lanes. We had 2-lanes back home, but my question was, 'Are you familiar with the RODE WIDENING?'. By the way, all I can see from Iloilo to Kalibo is a rice field and it changes as we approach Kalibo to Caticlan, wherein there are already tall mountains in the view.

¥ 7pm arrival at ALLIYAH'S BEACH RESORT
After the long travel of about 11hrs, finally, we arrived at Alliyah's beach resort at 7pm. It was a cheap hotel, but I was satisfied especially that Boracay was known for its expensive hotels.

¥ Fine dining with Ante Ging2 backpack foods
We had our dinner in the terrace of our hotel room. I was glad that it has a terrace that can serve as our leisure place. I am glad that Ante Ging2 accommodated us excellently. She really took good care of us while we were staying at Boracay.

¥ Strolling like there's no tomorrow
After dinner, Ante Ging2 accompanied us to roam around Boracay. It was indeed a night out Saturday for the crowd. I observed that almost 80% of the tourists there were foreigners especially, Americans and Koreans. However, the evening of Boracay was enjoyable especially if you're the type of a person who really wanted a great night out. By the way, I was so glad to roam around the place. I was amazed of the place especially that it has been 15 years ago since the last time I went in Boracay.

¥ Bought a gray hat and the Tall Espresso Frapuccino at Starbucks
While strolling around Boracay, I bought something for myself and it was a gray hat. Another thing, Ante Ging2 invited us at Starbucks for free and I ordered a tall espresso frapuccino. Yummy!

¥ Ended up PARTY DANCING at Club Paraw
It was such a long time since I had my last night out. Well, I didn't miss it because I am not a party goer. However, Boracay's night out was totally a blast. It was such a good experience especially seeing how foreigners go wild like that. I danced at Club Paraw. We had drinks, but I didn't enthuse that much because I don't like to get wasted. I danced so much and I met Bravo, a guy from Iloilo. I danced with him together with Ate Mayen. The night was so enthusiastic that I managed to help myself with happiness. That evening, Boracay welcomed me with crowds and lights.

¥ Early morning sleeping time
After our night out, we go back to our hotel at 1am. It was not yet late for Boracay, but we are already tired from the long travel. Goodnight!
